Empowering, Enlightening, Enriching. |
Helping families pass their faith in the Lord Jesus on to their children through a Christ-centered educational program and to help children fully develop their God-given gifts. |
We believe that Christian fellowship is one of the most powerful factors in building character. We want children to enjoy the feeling of "being a child" as they grow and learn.
We are proud of our students. As graduating eighth grade students leave St. John's, they regularly qualify for placement in Chicago's top academically-competitive high schools, such as Lane Tech, Loyola Academy, Walther Christian Academy, St. Patrick High School, and Northside College Prep. |

"St. John’s Lutheran School has been providing a quality Christian education on the Northwest side of Chicago since 1876. St. John’s is more than a school. It is more than a religious community. St. John’s is a Christian family made up of many different faith, ethnic, and income backgrounds. St. John’s mission statement is lived out daily. We strive to Empower, Enlighten, and Enrich our students, providing them with the essential skills they need to be Christ-centered productive citizens. I invite you to visit the school and see for yourselves what St. John’s is all about."
