St. John's has been providing quality Christian education on the northwest side of Chicago for almost 150 years. Founded in 1875, the church was founded by German immigrants and as the need for more educational space grew, the school addition was built in 1915.
Today, we serve a diverse school community that draws students from all over Chicago and the surrounding suburbs. Throughout the years, our vision has remained the same, and we continue to shape and nurture the next generation to live out the Gospel of Jesus. |
What Sets St. John's Apart?Above all else, we are a Christ-centered elementary school. We seek to honor God in everything that we do and aim to spread the love of Jesus to each student.
We provide a safe and nurturing environment for students to grow. We embrace our culturally diverse student body, and our staff truly cares about each child. We want every person that walks through our doors to know that they are loved by God. Our "Whole Child" approach not only emphasizes the academic growth, but also the spiritual, emotional, social, and physical development of each child. Our goal is for students to graduate with the tools they need to expand their learning and to become loving, service-oriented citizens of the world. |
